Silver Jeans Launch Party at M. Fredric

My dears, a few nights ago I had the pleasure of attending the Silver Jeans red carpet launch party at M. Fredric in Studio City (just over the hill from LA). It was lots of fun and a portion of the proceeds benefited the American Cancer Society, so I thought I’d share a few highlights.

M. Fredric, a chain of SoCal-cool boutiques with woodsy-chic decor, was packed. So packed I even collided (literally) with Maroon 5′s Adam Levine as he exited the dressing room (oopsy – I suppose there are worse ways to spend a Tuesday night!). It turns out Adam Levine is the son of M. Fredric owner Fred Levine. I love a supportive super star! I also nibbled cupcakes and stood in line next to Beverley Mitchell (Lucy Camden from Seventh Heaven – my Mom will die!), as our complimentary jeans were wrapped up by the darling denimologists, who had helped find us the perfect pair for our derrieres. I selected these Aiko mid-rise skinny jeans in grey, which look cute with my new scalloped yellow H&M top that I shamelessly wear three days a week.

I swooned over leather boots, striped tops and tiny cupcakes while others swooned over teen heartthrob Justin Bieber Austin Anderson from Nickelodeon’s VicTORIous, who was milling about. Though, I must admit I had no idea who he was until I got home and Twitter schooled me (hey, I’m not even in the MTV age demographic anymore, let alone Nickelodeon’s — excluding Nick at Nite, natch).

It was a fun red carpet-night of celebrities, paparazzi, fashion, DJs, grilled cheese food trucks and mini-cupcakes.

Or, you know, just a regular Tuesday night in LA.
